About us
Therapy that fits into family life
Rapid Health has served Tallahassee and the Big Bend for more than 10 years, bringing occupational therapy into the places children already feel at home.
Why we do this
At Rapid Health, therapy is about active engagement and participation through functional play. We’d rather help a child master tying their shoes in their own bedroom than practice in a clinic they visit once a week.
Our goal is to build functional, independent skills with a multi-sensory approach to learning, and to give parents tools they can use between visits.
Founder Betty Otuonye, a FAMU-trained occupational therapist, started the practice to give families real support between visits.

What guides us
Believe. Expectation. Reality.
Believe
Every child can grow in independence. We start from what your child can do and build from there.
Expectation
Clear goals you help set, measured with standardized assessments so you can see progress.
Reality
Skills that show up in real life, at the dinner table, in the classroom and on the playground.
